The blade is forged in Seki, Japan, from ZA18 steel with 62 layers of damask: exceptionally sharp, durable, and easy to sharpen. The handle, crafted from rare Desert Ironwood, fits perfectly in the hand and ages with character. Each knife is hand-honed, making each piece a masterpiece in its own right.
The Nakiri is designed for pure vegetable performance. The straight cutting line and wide, flat edge make every stroke efficient and precise—ideal for dicing, slicing, and ultra-fine slicing.
